The Salmon finger puppet goes with the Long House Play Set and Canoe Collections.
All the imagination and play you could ever hope for is at the tip of your fingers with Sammy the Salmon. Designed by Bill Helin as part of his Culture Crew characters that tell the legends of the Tlingit and Tsimshian people, the Salmon is a highly respected symbol and given to those you respect. A great educational tool and a fun promotional product idea. These finger puppets are great for cultural, tourism and children’s events.
Part of the Bill Helin Collection
Bill Helin (Welaaxam Yout) is Tlingit, Tsimshian and Norwegian. Born in the Northwest Coastal community of Prince Rupert, BC, Bill spent countless hours listening to his grandmother as she taught him the many legends and songs of the Tlingit and Tsimshian people. Bill has captured the essence of these legends in a series of books and his “Culture Crew” and friends have been brought to life as quality plush toys.
